Lakeside Brass are an established brass quintet comprising alumni of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The ensemble has performed at an array of events, including recitals at venues such as St Martin-in-the-Fields, for Livery companies, for Alison Balsom's Freedom of the City of London Ceremony and regular performances at the Guildhall School.
Lakeside Brass have recently been accepted onto the prestigious Live Music Now programme. As Live Music Now Artists Lakeside will be presenting educational programmes and concerts in schools and other venues bringing live music to individuals that rarely have the opportunity to experience it. Lakeside Brass have also been accepted as Chamber Music Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama For 2018-2019.
Whilst studying at the Guildhall School, they also received coaching from Canadian Brass and Boston Brass. The quintet members have been members of some of finest youth orchestras in the world, including the European Union Youth Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Jugendorchestrer, Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the Britten Pears Young Artist Orchestra.
The members of Lakeside Brass also lead diverse freelance careers and perform with orchestras and ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphonic Brass of London and the English National Ballet.
